Hi, and welcome to my online store,
I am a Calgary-based printmaker exploring themes of nature, memory, magic, and music through traditional printmaking techniques. My work is rooted in intuition, experimentation, and a deep love for the handmade process.
Primarily working in linocut and screen printing, I am drawn to the tactile rhythm and meditative quality of printmaking. I love the way repetition becomes a form of transformation. Each print is an exploration of mood, symbol, and storytelling that is often filtered through personal memory and sensory experience.
I have always been an artist. However, I began printmaking about 8 years ago after taking a series of workshops, and soon after began teaching myself linocut. The problem-solving and physicality of the medium immediately drew me in.
Since then, I've continued to grow my practice, now working out of a printmaking studio with access to a press while also printing by hand at home.
I have participated in group exhibitions, taken on private commissions, and remain actively involved in my local printmaking community. Community and connection are vital to how I work. I believe in the power of sharing process, story, and craft.
I treat process not just as a means to an end, but as an essential part of the work itself. I approach each piece with care and curiosity, allowing each layer of ink and intention to build into something that is meditative and authentic.
