Bowie (2nd Print Run)

This is a second variable edition print run on my first 'Bowie' lino print that recently sold out.

In this edition, I was inspired specifically from that 90s moment when David Bowie graced his album cover 'Earthling' wearing the iconic Alexander McQueen red, white and blue Union Jack coat.

This special print is a 2-colour linoprint. These prints are made from a hand-carved linoleum print block and are all pressed by hand using a baren and wooden spoon. I used oil-based relief inks on 100% kozo (mulberry) paper. This is a very fine, lightweight paper much like rice paper that has been traditionally used in block printing and sumi painting. The paper size is 9" X 12". This is an edition of 5. Each print is numbered and signed.

Each print will be carefully shipped with a backing board, wrapped in plastic and enclosed in a hard mailer.
